SPRAYING AND SPREADING
Helifarm provides aerial spraying & spreading services for a wide range of clients to help manage plantation forests, farmland, vineyards, public land and Aboriginal lands. Our company has more than 25 years experience in aerial application, a range of well-suited aircraft and highly experienced pilots.
FIRE LIGHTING & MANAGEMENT
In recent years we have provided fire lighting services to forestry companies, Aboriginal land managers, the state government and private landowners (R2, R3 & drip torch). We are also currently engaged by NAFC & the SA CFS to provide Air Attack & Air Observation platforms each bushfire season.
SURVEYS & SURVEILLANCE
In the past decade we have conducted a significant number of aerial surveys, covering a wide range of landscapes and species. From whales to mallee fowl, fire scars to vegetation type, our team has worked in WA, SA, NT, QLD and Victoria to help land managers, scientists and project officers collect valuable data.
PEST MANAGEMENT PROGRAMS
Our company works on pest management programs across south and central Australia to help control invasive species and support native biodiversity.
Activities include mapping, deployment of monitoring equipment and aerial surveys.
CHARTER SERVICES AND TOURS
Helifarm provides professional air transport services across Australia.
We also provide unique, tailored adventures for individuals, couples & small groups across South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula & surrounding regions.
SLING WORK
Sometimes there’s just no better way to move something than with a helicopter. Our R44, Jet Ranger, Long Ranger and Squirrels (AS350) are all able to carry sling loads and are often used to move equipment and supplies in remote and inaccessible areas.
PHOTOGRAPHY & FILMING
Over the years our pilots have worked with a range of film makers and photographers to capture images and footage for different projects & campaigns. We have been fortunate to work with professionals from National Geographic, the South Australian Tourism Commission, researchers and others with special interests.
OTHER SERVICES
Helifarm also offers a range of other helicopter services including frost protection, mustering, spotting (marine / fish, flora & fauna), dropping and seeding.
